Approaches to learning
Each child learns in different ways. Our center Balanced Learning® approach provides teachers with the tools and guidance to accommodate children’s natural curiosity and to fully support each child while building problem solving skills and confidence.
Creative Art
In order for children to create art, they need an inspiring space. . The art center allows children to make their own discoveries, either independently or together, and to feel confident in the choices they make. Painting, coloring, sculpting, drawing, and other forms of creative art are an important part of the child care curriculum.
Language and Literacy
As child care professionals knows, play is much more than a way to keep children busy between “important” activities. Hands-on exploration through play is the primary way that young children learn about their world and build their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills. Some of the best ways that child care providers can support young children’s development are by scheduling adequate opportunities for children to play, planning interesting activities that engage children’s imagination, providing engaging and varied materials.
Logic & Reasoning
Children at age 4 to 5 are able to form logical connections between knowledge and interaction. Reasoning is a capability that develops when children are given the freedom to spend time on their own and build their thought process. This capability for reasoning occurs at different ages depending on a child’s individual capacity and our materials. Nonetheless, it manifests in every child eventually.

• Create connections to help discover relationships

• Create connections to help discover relationships
Physical Development /Health
Physical development involves developing control over the body, particularly muscles and physical coordination. Physical development is an important area of child development that includes children’s physical growth, as well as their increasing ability to control the muscles of their bodies. Children’s physical development follows a predictable pattern, but each child grows at his or her own rate. Active play helps children develop their motor skills. Our Child care programs support children’s physical development by providing safe surroundings, good nutrition and plenty of time for active play and exploration.
Our Child care providers play a crucial role in helping young children learn healthy eating habits. Mealtimes and snacks in child care can be great learning opportunities for young children.
Social-Emotional Development
Our teachers and caregivers promote children’s social and emotional health by establishing trusting relationships, created when teachers express warmth, affection, and respect. Teachers intentionally teach and enhance these skills using evidence-based strategies to teach, model, and reinforce positive behaviors.
